By adopting the “RASCOW2” protocol, Zao Type-G enables real-time transmission of video, audio, and control signals. It enhances communication reliability through redundancy across multiple mobile networks, while integrating situational monitoring and safety control functions. This creates a robust foundation for the safe and seamless remote operation of construction equipment, even in distant locations.

In remote control at civil engineering and construction sites, the stability of communication is directly related to safe and smooth operation.


"Zao-Type G" uses multiple carrier (network)  lines at the same time, and by optimally controlling and load balancing the situation for each line in real-time, it reduces delays and interruptions in video transmission and control signals. This results in highly stable operations.

Even at a site where the cellular environment is unstable, with bonded multiple communication coupled with the use of adaptive encoding that mitigates against limited bandwidth or where it fluctuates widely,  the Zao-G greatly reduces the risk of communication interruption during work.

Zao Type-G Appliance

 The Zao Type- G is an OEM appliance complete with GMSL cameras that leverages NVIDIA Jetson. Utilizing Soliton's proprietary "RASCOW2" protocol, it enables highly reliable video transmission, flexibly integrating into construction site systems. Equipped with IP tunneling capabilities for control signals such as CAM, it connects the target construction equipment to the remote control controller via a dedicated server that can be on-prem or privately hosted by Soliton.

This allows for simultaneous remote control of multiple construction machines and real-time video sharing of construction progress, strongly supporting unmanned construction and the establishment of remote monitoring systems.
